During March we had the pleasure of attending and presenting at the British University Finance Directors Group (BUFDG) Finance Festival 2022. At the festival our session was titled “Integrated Business Planning in Higher Education” and attracted over 300 attendees.
“From rolling forecasts to the 5-year plans, to student number planning, staff utilisation, TRAC Reporting, Resource Allocation to understand school profitability and what-if scenario modelling.
In a climate of cost-cutting competition for top students and staff, less public funding, and more stringent compliance requirements, college and university administrators must be able to define long-term growth plans while analysing trends and scenarios to prepare for future excellence. This being said, budget management and planning is undoubtedly the most important step in this process.
Join our session where we will be discussing how automation and analytics can be brought into the institution from moving away from an Excel driven process. In addition, we will converse on the impact of culture and how to successfully bring change and adoption into a process that has been running for a number of years.”
